Pregnancy Smoothie
(Sometimes in pregnancy, all that sounded good to me was smoothies.)
Ingredients
- 1 banana, fresh or frozen
- ½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- ½ cup blackberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 cups almond milk (can substitute with other milk)
- 1 tsp chai or flax seeds (optional)
- 2 Tbsp peanut or almond butter
- 2 Tbsp yogurt (plain, vanilla, or flavored)
- 3-5 dates (especially beneficial during third trimester!)
- 1 serving protein powder (optional)
Directions
Place ingredients in a blender and puree to desired thickness, adding milk when needed. Place in your favorite glass and enjoy!
