Skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding are beneficial for regulating the baby's temperature and blood sugar levels.
New moms should cherish the bonding time with their babies and seek support from healthcare providers and resources.
Morning sickness can be alleviated by eating crackers, ginger candies, and staying in bed.
It's important for new moms to know their resources and reach out for help and support when needed.

WORDS OF WISDOM
Put that baby skin to skin, because that's going to really help that blood sugar regulation and temperature regulation.
Enjoy that time, because it just goes so fast.  When I was breastfeeding my baby, it seems like it goes, like you're just constantly breastfeeding your baby. But really enjoy it, because it's such a special experience, just being able to have that bonding time, that sacred time that you get with your baby, breastfeeding and getting to know your baby.
Staying in bed and having someone grab you crackers, or if you can remember the night before, having crackers at your bedside. Because as soon as you get up, you feel sick, right? You start moving around, and just having a little bit of crackers just helps.
